Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

Abstract Timelines

  • Abstract submission opens: 05th November 2024
  • Abstract submission closes: 30th November 2024
  • Last date to submit PowerPoint Presentation (PPT): 20th December 2024
  • Abstracts will be accepted only through the conference website.
  • Abstracts sent by e-mail will not be accepted.
  • Scientific committee decisions regarding acceptance/rejection will be final.

General Guidelines

  • There is no restriction on the number of papers/e-posters submitted from an institution.
  • Only one presenter will be allowed per paper, two presenters will be allowed per e-poster.
  • An individual can present either one paper or one e-poster, but not both.
  • If the presenter is an IDA member/registered delegate of the conference, presentation will be free of charges.
  • Students are to upload a scanned copy of the bona-fide certificate duly signed by the Head of the Department at the time of abstract submission (file size not to exceed 3 MB).
  • Last date for abstract submission is 30th November 2024.

  • Abstract title (maximum 30 words)
  • Abstract (maximum 200 words, excluding title)

Process of Abstract Submission & Presentation:

  • Abstract submission should be done online.
  • In due course, you will receive an acceptance e-mail .
  • The presentation in MS PowerPoint format should be uploaded to the website before the last date specified
  • A follow-up e-mail will be sent to notify regarding the presentation schedule and venue.

Guidelines For Abstract Preparation

  • Word limit of abstract is 200 words (excluding title).
  • Abstracts must be Original and should not have been published or presented at a previous conference or submitted for publication (publication of a part of an exhaustive study, which is not included in the current presentation may be allowed).
  • Acceptance of submitted abstract is subject to the decision of the scientific committee and shall be final and binding.
  • All abstracts for papers/e-posters should be structured and should have sub-headings as mentioned below:
    • For Original research- Title, Background, Aim, Materials and methods including statistical plan, Results, Discussion, Conclusion
    • For review - Title, Background, Review of findings, Discussion, Conclusion
    • For case report/case series - Title, Introduction, Case summary, Treatment protocol, Follow-up, Conclusion

Guidelines For Final Presentation

  • The final PowerPoint submission of the paper/e-poster should be non-identifiable, and should not mention the presenter's name/institution/affiliation.
  • One presenter shall be allowed per paper.
  • Total duration of paper presentation will be 10 minutes: 8 minutes for presentation, 2 minutes for discussion.
  • Final PowerPoint once submitted cannot be changed or modified.
  • Two presenters shall be allowed per e-poster.
  • Total duration of e-poster presentation will be 7 minutes: 5 minutes for presentation, 2 minutes for discussion.
  • Posters shall be set in landscape orientation and information (text, data, photos and figures) must be designed to appear within 1 slide of PowerPoint.
  • Title and sub-headings should be clearly visible and legible.
  • Photographs/figures included in the poster should have sufficient size so as to be clearly visible, with a minimum of 300 dpi resolution.
  • Final PowerPoint once submitted cannot be changed or modified.
